Mass bird death comes to mid-Missouri; totally not a sign of the apocalypse

Load your shotgun, grab your Bible and head for the hills. Mass bird death — supposedly a sign of the coming apocalypse — has come to mid-Missouri!
KRCG-TV reported that about 30 starlings bit the dust on Rockbridge Road in Cole County on Saturday, bringing the latest ornithological/End Times fad to the Show Me State. This mass bird death was relatively puny, only about 30 instead of the reported 5,000 birds in Arkansas that went to the big nest in the sky on New Year’s Eve, and the 500 that died in Louisiana earlier this year.
