Killa City: One dead, one injured in KCK shooting
A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after a shooting last night. Kansas City, Kansas, police responded to a shots fired call at 11:52 p.m. in the 3500 block of N. 60th St.
The man was taken to a local hospital. The identities of the wounded haven’t been released, yet.

Update: Fox 4 adds that police found three children, ranging in age from a toddler to 12 in the home.
Police said the children heard their parents arguing overnight and then heard gunfire. That’s when they called 911.
Update (3:37 p.m. Wednesday, May 6): KCK police released the name of the female victim from last night’s fatal shooting. They say the victim was 30-year-old Shannon Crockett. The man who was shot is still in critical condition in a hospital. Police say they’re investigating the incident as “possibly domestic related.” The children who were in the home at the time of the shooting were not physically harmed and are now in the custody of a family member.
