Will Farrell and the Hamburger the Size of His Head
By ERIC BARTON
Big stars apparently eat big burgers.
In Manhattan for a stop on his comedy tour, Will Farrell watched the Super Bowl at Kite’s, an Aggieville old standard. He ordered the joint’s new “Three-Pound Cheeseburger in Paradise,” which he quickly picked up and took a few bites from.
Farrell came in wearing a K-State sweatshirt, says Kris Smith, a Shawnee native who’s the general manager at Kite’s. “He showed up in that sweatshirt. We didn’t even give it to him,” Smith said. “He even knew a little bit about K-State. He mentioned [Michael} Beasley and [Bill] Walker and everybody.”
Farrell didn’t finish the three-pounder by himself, Smith reports. He carved it up and shared it with his entourage of writers and assistants.
