David Bledsoe shot and killed during robbery at Bledsoe’s Rentals

This week is turning out to be a bloody one. David Bledsoe became Kansas City’s third homicide of the week and the 30th victim of 2011.

Fox 4 reported that two masked robbers with 9 mm handguns busted into Bledsoe’s Rentals at 50th and Prospect Thursday and demanded money. One of the robbers shot Bledsoe, who was sitting in a chair, after he told them, “You’re not gonna shoot anybody.” Taking a bullet didn’t stop Bledsoe from chasing the robbers in his truck.
