Teens face murder charges as adults for allegedly killing Monte Wedd over gun sale
Two teens are facing murder charges as adults after allegedly killing 17-year-old Monte Wedd
at 44th and Agnes on March 26.
Last week, Jackson County prosecutors charged 16-year-olds Derrick Frencher and
Darian Pulce-Nugent with second-degree murder, first-degree assault and
two counts of armed criminal action.
Court records say Pulce-Nugent was so proud of the killing that he bragged in a getaway
car: “We got our first M’s.” “M” is street slang for murder.
