Ryder Spillman homicide: Stephen Reed’s mother says son claimed killing was ‘an accident’

Theresa Reed‘s son is charged with first-degree murder in

the death of Ryder Spillman, whose body was found Sunday outside an elementary school in Kansas City, Kansas.

Theresa Reed told KSHB Channel 41 that her son, Stephen Reed, told her that the killing “was an accident,” and he “feels sorry for the Spillman

family.” I doubt that will be of much comfort to Spillman’s family and friends.
