Brian Washington killed in a drive-by shooting on Kansas City’s south side

UPDATE (3:23 p.m.): Brian Washington, 19, was the victim of this morning’s homicide. Police are still looking for Washington’s killer.

Original Story: Kansas City police are looking for whomever was in a white Ford Taurus that opened fire on three men, killing one early this morning.

Witnesses saw three men walking in the street in the 11200 block of Corrington around 1:50 a.m. when the drive-by shooting occurred. One of the men was rushed to a hospital in a private vehicle but was pronounced dead.
