Sam Brownback visited Leawood on Tuesday and addressed a group of Republicans. The Kansas governor called for party unity, saying Johnson County is “the epicenter where the Democrats always point to split the Republican Party.”
Brownback sounded like a boxing commentator as he talked about the upcoming election cycle. The Democrats, Brownback said, would be looking to draw blood with a well-placed fist.
