Get funked up this weekend with Morris Day & the Time

Bitch about the new Facebook setup all you want. However, were it not for Facebook, I wouldn’t have found out about Morris Day and the Time playing a free show this weekend at the Power and Light District. The long-running Prince-mentored act best known for “Jungle Love” and “Jerk Out” will be plying their party funk on the KC Live stage this Sunday, September 25, at 7 p.m. No clue as to whether there’s anyone from the original lineup other than Morris Day. Jerome, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis were all on the Grammys, so you can hope. The all-ages show is sponsored by Magic 107.3 (although anyone under 21 needs to be accompanied by an adult guardian).
