Marquise Williams Jr. dies in wreck after bizarre dispute on Highway 69
UPDATE (September 29): Overland Park police have located the sliver Mitsubishi Eclipse they were seeking in Marquise Williams Jr.’s death and have seized the car for evidence.
Original Story (September 26): One person is dead, and police are looking for a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse after a bizarre dispute on Highway 69.
Overland Park police say 22-year-old Marquise Williams Jr. was killed in a car crash at 119th Street and Highway 69 early Sunday after being involved in a dispute with the occupants of the Eclipse. Both vehicles were traveling southbound on Highway 69 when the vehicle that Williams was riding in lost control and crashed into a pole south of 119th Street.
