mc chris on Adult Swim, Race Wars and being a fanboy

MC Chris has come a long way from self-releasing CDs of geek raps and cartoon-character voices. Well, actually, he’s still self-releasing his albums and still voicing cartoon characters, but his new album, Race Wars, currently sits at No. 10 on the Billboard top comedy list, and his live shows regularly sell out. He’s now a force to be reckoned with, and he’s coming to The Granada with MC Lars, Mega Ran and MC WarRock tonight (Thursday, October 6). We talked with him by phone about assorted geekery, as well as his close relationship with his fans.
