Kansas City is the nation’s ninth ‘most relaxed city’

Some cities may have to turn to back-alley dealers for Quaaludes or hire an army of hypnotherapists, but Kansas City came by its Forbes’ ranking as the ninth most relaxed city in the United States honestly. According to Forbes, we’ve got the second best commute time, ninth best unemployment and 12th best health care and health status ranks. And we may finally have an answer for why Kansas City Water Department employees kept falling asleep in their trucks — life is simply too relaxing here.

But whether we keep that relaxed status depends on the year to come. After the jump, let’s consider what might just raise the blood pressure of Kansas Citians in the coming year.
