97-year-old woman beaten and robbed during home invasion in Volker neighborhood

Can we get any more depraved today? The answer is sadly, yes. A 97-year-old woman was beaten and robbed in her midtown home at 39th Street and Mercier on Thursday morning.

KCTV5 reported that the attack occurred just before 8 a.m., and it took four robbers to drag the woman out of bed. A next-door neighbor found the woman “bruised and confused” this morning.
