63 pairs of stolen Nikes recovered after tips to Kansas City police

Kansas City Police Chief Jim Corwin announced on his blog that 63 pairs of stolen Nike tennis shoes had been recovered during a search last night.

Last Thursday, a semitrailer with 3,000 pairs of Nike Air Max 90s was

stolen from Junction City, Kansas. Corwin wrote that “multiple” tips led police to East 45th and Park, where a search warrant was executed and some of the shoes were recovered. That wasn’t all police found. They also recovered a gun and ammo.
