13 cats taken from cat lady’s urine-soaked home; 30 dogs rescued in two Missouri cases

Kansas City, Kansas, is about to get some reality show shame. Animal Planet’s cameras filmed the Humane Society rescuing 13 cats from a cat lady’s home on Monday and they’re not done extracting the animals.
KCTV5 reports that more than 15 cats were left behind, and the Humane Society will have to go back for them. As you can imagine, conditions in the home were not sanitary.
“There’s urine everywhere,” Karen Sands, director of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City told KCTV5. Gross.
